Project Management

All projects undertaken by Karl R. Rohrer Associates Inc., are performed using the Team concept of Project Management. The essence of the Team Concept is the identification of the key services required which are uniquely defined by the nature of the project, the client and the service objectives intended to be provided by the completed project. Careful selection is made from our staff to place on the project team those individuals whose skills and training best qualify them to fulfill the needed service requirements and thereby allow us to best satisfy our client’s needs.

Project team selection begins with the designation of the Project Manager, that individual best suited to represent the company in dealing with the client, to direct and expedite the work and the individual charged with the successful execution of the project.

The Project Manager is supported by a team of Project Architects, Engineers, Planners and Surveyors in a mix of disciplines as required by the project. He coordinates the activities of the project team throughout the duration of the project. Our team is comprised of the individuals and professionals charged with the responsibility and bearing the authority to carry out the design functions of their specific discipline, and to provide the technical expertise necessary.

The Project Manager, as a constant throughout the various project phases, plays a very important role in the successful completion of a project. Especially important, is the continuation of the Project Manager’s efforts during the construction phase. It is our goal to conclude a project with minimal change orders.  The dedication and commitment of one Project Manager from beginning through final construction has greatly reduced change orders and results in quality, timely and cost effective project performance.
